The chairs in the revamped interior are yellowish. I've regularly traveled between Utrecht and Eindhoven using this type of train . On this line a <a href="http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICK" rel="nofollow">horrible train type</a> of German origin was also used from time to time, the smell was terrible. Fortunately most trains traveling this line are VRIMs, my personal favorite. I’m assuming Thijs is referring to the regular passenger carriages powered by an electric engine. The chairs in the revamped interior are yellowish. I’ve regularly traveled between Utrecht and Eindhoven using this type of train .

Matthijs and I tried to figure it out, but we don't know any intercity train with yellow textile chairs. Are you referring to the old-style <a href="http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intercitymaterieel" rel="nofollow">regular intercity</a> with the orange colored chairs? Those are being upgraded as well (to the new color coding of blue/red). Exactly which one are you referring to?
