Internal Dialogue

I don’t accomplish very much on hot days like these. For starters, I wake up pretty early – well, before the alarm goes off that is – sweating because of the sun that’s shining directly into my room. The curtains don’t help much, either. They don’t even stop the daylight from coming in that well.

Not that the other non-hot days are pretty fruitful: I spent July watching x-files and playing games; pretty much relaxing and enjoying the summer “vacation”. It’s quite possibly my last big summer vacation anyway, so I figured I didn’t have to do too many useful things. Though I try not to be completely useless

I also spent part of the day reading into and watching documentaries about the Roswell Incident. I know, I know, it’s ridiculous. Normally I’m not even interested in fake/hyped UFO things like that. For years I’ve been interested in the idea of extra-terrestrial life (and space exploration), and during this period I’ve formed my own thoughts and opinions. I’m not really in the typing-mood, so I’ll probably elaborate on this subject in a later blog. But I do want to say that although I think (know?) that there was never an UFO crash and subsequent cover-up, it was pretty interesting to read about. But more on this in a later blog.

Ugh, I just saw another one of those sms/text-service commericals on TV where they want you to sign up for some service. The most irritating one is with that achmed the dead terrorist guy – they want you to pay so you can “have him on your mobile”. I can’t even describe how annoying it is… but perhaps that has something to do with the fact that I never like that video. Every time I see that video linked or hear “I kill you”, I wonder if I’m the only one who *doesn’t* think it’s funny. I probably I smiled one or twice in the first minute, but I never laughed once. No, it’s clearly not my thing. This, on the other hand, I (still) find absolutely hilarious:
